At our school in Sosua, you can combine your Spanish immersion program with all these activities and more! Our school in Sosua is just 5 minutes’ walk from a beautiful beach with fine white sand and clear waters. Spanish lesson at our school

Our school is located in an historic and tranquil part of Sosua called ‘El Batey’, where you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Our school stands in its own grounds, with tropical gardens and 4 shady terrace areas. Don’t forget, the beach is just 5 minutes’ walk away! On sunny days (and the sun shines nearly every day in Sosua), our students love to study outdoors on the shady terraces.

Our Spanish language programs

Windsurfing lesson

In addition to our popular standard, intensive and private Spanish immersion programs, you can also choose from a range of Spanish and activity programs at our school in Sosua. Sosua has one of the largest coral reefs in the Dominican Republic, and is home to 19 different dive sites, making it the ideal location for a Spanish and scuba diving course. No matter what your level, you’ll find plenty of interesting things to see on your dive, from tropical fish to dolphins and even ship wrecks.

Or, why not combine your Spanish immersion course with windsurfing or kitesurfing in Cabarete Bay? Home to international championships and with strong consistent winds, Cabarete Bay is one of the top five places in the world to wind or kitesurf. Our school’s windsurfing classes have a maximum class size of 6 students, whilst kitesurfing classes have a maximum of just 3 students.

If you want to see as much of possible of the Dominican Republic during your Spanish immersion program, we’d recommend our traveling classroom course. The course includes a 2 week tour of the island, 20 Spanish lessons and 3 star hotel accommodation. You’ll start off in Sosua, then move on to Jarabacoa, then the capital Santo Domingo, the beaches of La Terrenas, and then back to Sosua!

On-site Residence

The 3-star apart-hotel with pool

Rooms in our on-site residence are convenient for everything - you’ll never be late for class, and you’ll be just 5 minutes from the beach! Every room in our on-site residence has a private bathroom, fridge, TV and fan. What’s more, on-site facilities include sun terraces, a BBQ area and table-tennis.

Hotel

If you’d like to stay in hotel accommodation, you can choose from 2, 3 or 4 star hotels. The 4 star hotel is just 2 minutes’ walk from the school, and is located right on the peak of ’La Puntilla’, with a spectacular ocean view. Rooms come with a private bathroom, air-conditioning, cable TV. There is also a swimming pool onsite.

Apart Hotel

For total independence, choose our apart hotel option, just 15 minutes’ walk from our school. The apart hotel is centrally located, in quiet complex surrounded by gardens. On-site facilities include swimming pool, volleyball, restaurant, bar, laundry service and internet.
