San Joaquin is also the ideal base for exploring the many different sides of Costa Rica. You can travel to beautiful beaches of the Guanacaste region or visit the mountain rain forests in the west. Just outside San Joaquin, you’ll find extensive coffee and banana plantations - great for a day trip from our school!

Our school in San Joaquin de Flores is well located, right in the town center and with beautiful views over the nearby coffee and banana plantations.

All of the 22 class rooms are air conditioned, there is a school Internet café, a student cafeteria, a library and beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the school.

Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia classes

The teachers at our school in San Joaquin de Flores are all native speakers and are fully qualified in teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages. In addition, the maximum class size on the Spanish immersion program in San Joaquin is just 4 students!
