Unlike many modern cities, Salamanca has retained its traditional charm. You will find the cobbled streets, historic white sandstone buildings and traditional cafes and restaurants remain unspoilt by mass tourism. Don’t forget to visit the breathtaking Plaza Mayor, one of the most beautiful squares in Spain! Truly, it is difficult to imagine a location more typically Spanish than Salamanca.

Salamanca is also home to one of the most prestigious universities in Europe and has a youthful student population which means that a night out is definitely one to remember!

Our Salamanca school is conveniently located just 7 minutes walking distance from the historic city centre. Inside, the school has wonderful modern facilities with stylish parquet flooring throughout. There is a large and welcoming reception area, which opens onto an Internet café which students may use for free. There are 20 bright colorful, classrooms spread across 3 levels. Many classrooms look out onto the school»s own charming patio at the back of the building and this is where many students meet to make friends during breaks from their Spanish course, or to relax with drinks and snacks, which are available from machines in the student reception. All classrooms are fully air conditioned and are equipped with the latest technology to help you during your Spanish immersion program.

If you would like to have the independence of preparing your own meals while you study abroad in Salamanca you may like to consider self-catering accommodation in one of our shared student apartments or in a private studio apartment.

Spanish host families and student residences

If you want as much Spanish language immersion as possible we recommend staying with one of our friendly and welcoming host families. We also offer catered accommodation in our student residence.
