If you want to learn German and have a great time while you’re studying, Munich is an excellent choice! Located at the foot of the stunning Bavarian Alps, Munich is a beautiful city, where you’ll never be lost for something to do.

Visit former royal palaces, sample Bavarian beers at the Hofbräuhaus brewery, or just enjoy Munich’s picturesque parks. Learn German in Munich and you’ll come to appreciate what a unique city it is and how different it is from anywhere else in Germany!

Our school is situated in an attractive 17th century building, in the center of Munich, only five minutes away from the Sendlinger Tor station on Munich’s metro system. In your spare time, why not take a walk up to the picturesque Marienplatz square, the heart of Munich life, and test your German language skills with the locals?

The school has nine well-equipped classrooms, a kitchen, garden and student common room, complete with Internet café. The common room is the perfect place to relax and get to know other students after your German lessons. Munich has many great places to unwind, including the ‘Englischer Garten’ (English Garden), which is one of the largest urban parks in the world.

Our German language programs

There are many German language courses for you to choose from if you learn German in Munich with us. Our Standard Course offers you 20 German lessons each week, whereas our Intensive Course consists of 25 German lessons per week. On both courses, you’ll have the chance to talk German with other students, as you will learn in groups.

Private tuition is also available, if you’d like more individual attention from our teachers, and a personalized program of learning. Or combine the benefits of group and private lessons with one of our Combined Courses, which consist of 20 group lessons with 5 or 10 private lessons each week. You can take any of these courses, even if you’re completely new to German, as each course is offered at a variety of levels.

If you have an intermediate level of German, or above, we can offer you a range of courses to help you perfect your understanding of the language. Study on one of our Work Placement courses, and your German will quickly improve as you use it to talk to your new work-mates! Choose our unique University Lectures course to gain some exposure to more advanced German, as you attend German university lectures as a guest.

We also have courses in German Pronunciation, which will help you to communicate better in German. Teachers for all of our courses are native to Germany, so listening to their speech will guide you to clearer pronunciation and allow you to rapidly improve your language skills!

Cultural program in Munich, Germany

After your German lessons, you can take part in at least three activities a week, organized by our school. So you’ll soon get to know Munich and other local places of interest!

Allow our expert guides to give you a tour of Munich, see the BMW factory and visit the city’s famous museums. Get a flavor of Bavarian culture and famous local beers with trips to traditional beer gardens. Or pick up some German from watching German films at our school, where you can also enjoy parties with teachers and your fellow students!

The school also runs excursions at the weekends. Trips to the amazing Neuschwanstein Castle and the historical town of Dachau are just two of the options.
