Our French language school in Montreux is located on the town’s main street, right next to the lakeside. Following your French lessons, you can take a walk along the palm-fringed promenade, browse the stylish shops or go for a swim in the lake!

The school building itself has 8 comfortable classrooms, some offering marvellous views of the lake and beyond. There is also a terrace area, computer room and free wireless Internet access. Best of all, the school has a great family atmosphere, so you’ll immediately feel at home!

Our French language programs

Relaxing in the summer sun!

You can learn French in Montreux, whether you’re 16 or 60, a total beginner or already fairly fluent! Our school’s courses, ranging from 15 to 30 lessons per week, cater for everyone. The Combined French course in Montreux, for instance, includes 20 group classes and 5 private French lessons per week – perfect if you want a mixture of both approaches! With a course consisting only of Private Lessons, you can even decide upon the course schedule, making it as intensive as you like.

For those aged 50 or above, who’d like to spend time with fellow mature students, our school offers the French Club 50 + course. A Work Placement program is also available, giving you the chance to work with French-speakers everyday, so you constantly improve your French!

Join in with the fun on our school’s packed activities program! Take advantage of Montreux’s excellent leisure facilities, and enjoy sports like windsurfing, skiing, basketball, snowboarding, swimming and badminton.

Get to know your fellow students with social activities, including theme evenings and school parties. The school also arranges full day excursions, taking in elegant Lausanne, picturesque Vevey, the French town of Evian-les-Bains and the Swiss Alps!

If you stay in homestay accommodation in Montreux, not only will your French improve from living in a French-speaking environment, but you’ll also experience Swiss culture at first-hand! Our carefully chosen homestay families offer bed & breakfast or half board (2 meals per day) accommodation.
