Our language school in central Hamburg is just moments away from the shimmering Binnenalster Lake, across which runs a bridge named after John F. Kennedy. Also very close to the school is the expansive ‘Planten un Blomen’ park, where you can witness magnificent sound and light shows. Hamburg is an exceptionally green and scenic city, boasting many parks and more canals than Venice and Amsterdam combined!

There is a great deal of choice when it comes to deciding upon which German course in Hamburg to study on. Our school has a very flexible range of courses available. If you want plenty of free time to explore Hamburg, our school’s Semi-intensive course is perfect! You’ll have two German lessons each weekday, so you can spend the afternoons enjoying the wonderful city of Hamburg!
The Intensive course, meanwhile, consists of 25 German lessons each week, either in the mornings or afternoons. So whether you’re an early riser or like a late-night out, our school has just the course for you!
On our school’s Combined Course you can also choose between morning and afternoon classes. As well as 25 German sessions in groups, this course includes five individual lessons per week, during which your teachers can devote even more time to improving your German language skills!
Or, you can learn German in Hamburg with a program made up solely of Private Lessons. Opt for anything between four to eight lessons each day, lessons which will focus on areas of the language that you want to work on. If you need to develop your business vocabulary in German, our school’s Business German course is designed to do just that! Business German is the only program that requires you to have any previous knowledge of German.

So that you have as memorable a time in Germany as possible, our school offers a varied program of activities. Typical activities include bus tours of Hamburg, visits to local breweries, boat trips around Lake Alster, movie-nights and trips to museums, to name but a few!
The cultural program will also take you on excursions outside of Hamburg, allowing you to experience more of Germany! Possible destinations include Bremen, Lünenburg, Lübeck, Schwerin and Stade, locations which all have their own unique charm. Or, you might visit Sylt, one of the Frisian Islands off Germany’s North Sea coast.

Our school also arranges homestays with local families, offering you a real insight into German culture while you learn German in Hamburg. Staying with a native, German-speaking family allows you to constantly use your German, so your language skills will quickly improve! You can choose homestay accommodation without meals, just have breakfast with your family, or enjoy a home cooked breakfast and dinner each day.
What could be more convenient than living on the same site where you have your German lessons? You can stay in either a single or a double room at our school’s comfortable on-site residence. All rooms have satellite TV and the use of a shared bathroom.
