Our school is in Sainte-Anne, an old sugar town on the south coast of the island. Azure skies, turquoise waters and a stunning beach await you just 50 metres from the school! What better way to unwind after French lessons than to lie back and enjoy the sun?

You might want to see the hidden, but equally beautiful world of the tropical reefs. Or you could explore the unspoilt rain forests of Guadeloupe.

Our school organizes a packed activities programme, allowing you to experience the island’s culture when you’re not learning French. You’ll have the chance to discover the Salsa and African dances, and cook up delicious Creole dishes.

Or make the most of the great conditions for water sports around Sainte-Anne. Windsurfing, kayaking and sailing trips are all arranged by the school.

If you like the idea of kayaking in the Caribbean, why not combine your French studies with hiking and kayaking in Guadeloupe’s National Park? On the French and Hiking/Kayaking course, you will have 20 French lessons each week.

The Sainte-Anne school runs a variety of courses, including a French Club 50 Course, ideal if you’re over 50 years of age and prefer the company of people around your own age. Study on this course and you will have 20 French lessons each week, in addition to various activities and excursions.

You will be able to study on most of our courses regardless of your level of French. All lessons are taken by experienced, highly-qualified native teachers, carefully selected by our school in Sainte-Anne. Maximum class sizes of just six mean that you will receive lots of personal attention, helping you to learn French even more quickly.

Homestays, arranged by the school, help you develop your language skills, as you can practice your French with the family you’re living with, chatting over breakfast or discussing plans for the weekend. Staying with a host family also gives you further insight into the culture of Guadeloupe.

If you prefer though, the school also has private studio apartments available. Our Private Apartment Plus option offers a higher standard of accommodation, with either sea or garden views.
