Our German language school in Freiburg is centrally located, close to the college and many historical sights. A three-storey detached villa, sitting in its own gardens, is home to our school.

Facilities at the school are excellent, with 13 well-equipped classrooms, a self-study room, computer room with free Internet access, cafeteria and parking lot. Soak up the sun on the large terrace area as you get to know your classmates!

There are many ways to learn German in Freiburg with our school. Choose the course that best suits your needs – every course is taught by native German tutors, with years of experience! One of the most popular programs is the Intensive course of 25 German lessons each week. This option provides you with plenty of German tuition, in maximum class sizes of just seven students, yet also leaves you with lots of leisure time to enjoy Freiburg!

Our school’s Summer Course for Young Adults and Long Term Course for Young Adults also consist of 25 German lessons each week. These courses give you the chance to get to know more of your fellow students, as the maximum class size is 12 students.

If you need to develop your knowledge of German business terms, our school’s Business German Plus program is perfect! As well as 25 German lessons each week, you’ll also have five, 10 or 15 lessons on Business German per week.

For total immersion in the German language and way of life, you can learn German at a Tutor’s Home. This German course in Freiburg gives you the chance to practise your language skills all the time! If you want one-to-one lessons, but would prefer not to live with a tutor, you can learn German in Freiburg with a program of Private Lessons.

Let our school’s helpful activities coordinators show you the best of this beautiful part of Germany! Every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday, excursions are organized, taking in the spectacular Black Forest, historic Breisach and the Europa-Park theme park!

You may even get the chance to visit places like Basle (in Switzerland), Strasbourg or Colmar (both in France). Also on the agenda are activities such as film-evenings, trips to biergartens (beer gardens) and various sporting events. Our school’s cultural program offers you the chance to improve your German as you explore Germany and German culture!

Get even more German practise by living with one of our school’s expert tutors! Enjoy the convenience of living where your German lessons take place, and allow your friendly teacher to introduce you to German culture. This option is full board.

Student Residence

Take a Summer Course or Long Term German course in Freiburg, and you can stay in our school’s modern student residence. You’ll have a single room, furnished to a high standard, complete with an en-suite bathroom. Kitchens are shared between each floor and on the bottom floor of the residence is a large common room.

Shared Student Apartments

Our school also offers shared student apartments, with TVs, terrace areas and shared kitchens and laundry facilities. These apartments are situated just 10 minutes away from our school, in the center of Freiburg.
