Learning French can be fun!

The historic heart of Aix is just a short stroll from our school. Within minutes you could be enjoying delicious Provençal dishes like ‘bouillabaisse’ (a succulent fish stew) in the shade of a medieval church.

Our school occupies a former mansion, overlooking verdant gardens. There are 15 comfortable, well-equipped classrooms, an Internet-enabled multimedia library and a sun terrace. The terrace is the perfect place to unwind and meet other students!

Our French language programs

French class at our school

Our school runs French programs at every level, so you can learn French in Aix-en-Provence even if you’re a total beginner! Most courses involve studying in same-level groups, but more customized, Private Lessons are also available. Combined courses give you both group and individual tuition.

French for Professionals is our school’s most intensive course, ideal for people who work with French-speakers and need to learn lots of French in a short space of time. With 1 teacher between just 4 pupils, this study abroad program will rapidly develop your language skills!

If you want to spend more time in France, the Long Term Standard course lasts for between 13 and 39 weeks. Not only will you make unbelievable progress with your French, but you’ll also have time to truly appreciate the beauty of Aix and the whole Provence region!

Provence is famous for its mouth-watering cuisine, fine wines and rich artistic heritage. Delve deeper into the character of Provence with our school’s extra classes in gastronomy, wine tasting or painting, which take place after your morning French lessons. The Discover Provence program combines elements of all three subjects, giving you a great general introduction to Provence.

The activity program also includes excursions, showing you the best of Provence. Visit places such as historic Avignon, the stunning mountain village of Gordes and the ancient Roman city of Nimes. You might even witness the Carnival in Nice!

Studio Apartments

For a little more privacy, you can stay in a studio apartment at our school’s residence, which is open from May to September. It’s located in the town center, just 15 minutes away from the school itself. All apartments are equipped with kitchenettes.
